Manuscript, in a single hand, of a collection of copies of state papers from the reigns of Charles II, William and Mary, and Queen Anne. The papers relate to the administration of public funds for the offices of customs, the navy, and the Royal Household of Queen Anne. Entries include a list of the duties of "The Clerk of the Rope-Yards" and that of "The Comptroller," "Instructions to the Treasurer of the Navy," and a list of bottles of wine, amounts of wax lights and candles, wages, and "Faggots, Billets, Pitcoal and Charcoal to be dayly Allowed in the five Winter Months," for members of Queen Anne's royal household.
